TERMS & CONDITIONS - THE BASICS
Brandy’s Cleaning Service, LLC Terms and Conditions
1. Services
Brandy’s Cleaning Service, LLC (“Company”) provides professional cleaning services for residential and commercial properties. The scope of services will be outlined in the service agreement with each client and tailored to meet specific needs.
2. Appointment Scheduling and Cancellations
Appointments must be scheduled in advance.
Residential Clients: Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 72 hours in advance. If a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the estimate will be charged.
Commercial Clients: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to avoid service disruption. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a 100% fee.
3. Access to Property
The client agrees to provide access to the property on the scheduled cleaning date. If our cleaning team cannot access the property, the full service fee may be charged for the missed appointment.
4. Pricing and Payments
Residential Clients: Any and all payments are due in full before service is provided. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, or Venmo. Services will not be performed unless payment has been received.
Commercial Clients: Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. If payment is not received within 30 days, a late fee of $50 for each month late will be added to the invoice. The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if payments are not made on time. If a commercial client consistently fails to meet payment deadlines, the Company may require prepayment for future services.
Airbnb and VRBO Clients: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking services. The remaining balance is due upon service completion.
5. Supplies and Equipment
The Company will provide all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment unless otherwise requested by the client. If the client has specific product preferences or requires the use of their own equipment, they must inform the Company in advance.
6. Liability and Damages
The Company takes all necessary precautions to prevent damage to the client’s property. However, we are not liable for pre-existing damage or wear and tear. Any damages caused by our cleaning team must be reported within 24 hours of service for investigation.
The Company carries appropriate liability insurance to cover accidental damages caused by our staff.
7. Health and Safety
The Company reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if working conditions are deemed unsafe for our staff. This includes, but is not limited to, the presence of hazardous materials, unsanitary conditions, or aggressive behavior from pets or occupants.
8. Client Satisfaction and Quality Control
We strive for 100% client satisfaction. If any aspect of the cleaning service does not meet expectations, the client must notify us within 24 hours so we can resolve the issue. We may offer a follow-up cleaning or other solutions as appropriate.
9. Termination of Services
Either the client or the Company may terminate services with 10 days’ written notice. If services are terminated before the completion of a service agreement, any outstanding balances for completed services must be paid in full.
10. Confidentiality
All client information, including access codes, personal information, and business details, will be kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with any third parties except as required by law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Kansas.
12. Modifications to Terms and Conditions
The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes before they take effect.
13. Dispute Resolution and Legal Fees
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through informal negotiation before pursuing legal remedies. If a resolution cannot be reached, the parties may pursue mediation or legal action under Kansas law. Should legal action be necessary, the client agrees to be responsible for all court costs, attorney’s fees, and any other expenses incurred by Brandy’s Cleaning Service, LLC in enforcing these Terms and Conditions.
